Youth Virtual Hub allows options for youth who need support

GUELPH — The Grove Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) warmly welcomes youths aged 12 to 26, along with parents and caregivers, to utilize its virtual Youth Virtual Hub.

This platform is tailored to offer virtual support to youths who may be unable to visit physical locations, ensuring access to assistance from anywhere, directly from your device.

By bridging this gap, youth and their families are connected with the appropriate services precisely when and where needed, officials state in a press release.

“I’m happy we can offer youths the option to create a YWHO Virtual Hub account,” said The Grove executive director andchief development officer Jeff Hoffman.

“This initiative not only enhances accessibility but empowers our youth with greater control over their care, reinforcing our commitment to providing comprehensive support.”

The Youth Virtual Hub, a safe and secure platform connecting youths to virtual services at select YWHO hubs, also provides information on available services, and participating hubs and enables youths to book virtual appointments.

Sessions are conducted via Zoom video calls with unique links emailed to participants.

Some hubs also offer telephone appointments, which can be scheduled by contacting the hub directly.

Every youth who chooses to utilize this service has the option to create a YWHO Virtual Hub account, which provides added benefits.

Opting in allows youths to log in and easily manage their upcoming appointments, access their information conveniently in one location, and explore educational resources, empowering them with greater knowledge and control over their care.

All hubs still continue to offer a wide range of in-person services, and youth can visit the YWHO website for more information.
