I, Robby Smink, 64, have lived in Lionvale in St. Marys  since 1987 with my son Winston, dog Kita and cat Blitz.

I was a Freedom Party co-founder in 1984 with Mark Emery and Robert Metz. We started with three candidates in 1985, and I’ve run in every provincial election since. We have over 70 candidates this election including Salum Mansur, UWO political science professor, author, lecturer and academic, Al Gretzky and labor lawyer Paul McKeever among others.

I am employed with Argyle Materials and my passions are golf, politics and writing.

The main issue in this election is trust as the big three parties  ... think only in short term goals for getting re-elected, not what is best for the long term.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul is never enough. The average Ontarian now pays almost 60% of their income in taxes.

Waste your vote on the big three and you will get more unbalanced budgets, more billion dollar scandals, a bigger than $288 billion debt (growing at $400 per second),  idiotic wind turbines and unaffordable electricity rates. This Liberal legacy drives away jobs. These three parties in only 30 years have destroyed the province, turning us into a have not province.

We need balanced budget legislation now.

We need to stop the counterproductive wind farms. We need to get the toxic poison fluoride out of our drinking water and we need reasonable highway speed limits - 120km/h on 400 series highways and 100km/h on secondary highways.

The Freedom Party believes “the purpose of government is to protect our freedom of choice, not to restrict it.”
