Butter Tart Trail wins two
While most of Wellington North councillors were sitting at council Monday night, Mayor Mike Broomhead and Economic Development Officer Linda Reader were enjoying a taste of success in Saskatoon.
Of the three categories entered: business development, tourism brochure, and advertising campaign - the Butter Tart Trail won first place wins for its advertising campaign and its brochure. It was launched in 2006 to highlight unique rural experiences and attract day trippers.
Councillor John Matusinec said it was exciting News to hear and good News .
The 2007 marketing awards are sponsored b the Economic Developers of Canada, of which Reader is a member.
