Business break-ins reported

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Police are looking for clues to help solve two break-ins within minutes of each other on the same road here.

On Nov. 17 at about 3am Wellington County OPP officers responded to an alarm call at a business on Highway 6 near Marden Road.

“Upon arrival officers observed the front door window to be smashed and partially open,” police stated in a press release.

“It is unknown at this time if anything was stolen.”

About two minutes later, at 3:02am, Wellington OPP officers received an alarm call from a second business on Highway 6 just south of Marden Road.

“Officers attended the address and located an insecure door,” police stated. “The building was cleared and it is unknown at this time if anything was taken.”

OPP continue to investigate both incidents.
