Bridge re-elected chair of WOWC economic development committee
WELLINGTON COUNTY - County councillor and Minto Mayor George Bridge, has been re-elected chair of the Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus (WOWC) economic development committee for a one-year term.
The WOWC economic development committee emphasizes “a regional and collaborative approach to dealing with the implications of a transforming economy” and focuses on identifying cross-cutting regional economic development opportunities that have implications for all aspects of the Southwestern Ontario economy, states a Feb. 8 press release announcing Bridge’s election.
