Break-in leads to arrest
MOUNT FOREST – A Mount Forest man is facing charges after police say he broke into a Main Street business on Sept. 17.
At around 3:30am, Wellington County OPP were patrolling in Mount Forest when officers were dispatched to a business break-in alarm. Officers found the business broken into, but a suspect had already fled the scene, according to a police news release.
Police identified the suspect and located Luke Dillman, a 48-year-old Mount Forest man, nearby. He is charged with breaking and entering and theft under $5,000.
Dillman was released and is to appear in Guelph court later this year.
