Brampton man charged with sexual assault
CENTRE WELLINGTON – A Brampton man has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident here earlier this week.
Wellington County OPP officials say officers responded to a reported assault at a home on the 5th Line of former West Garafraxa township on Oct. 17.
"It was reported that the victim was sexually assaulted by a person known to them," police stated in a press release.
Manjit Singh Hans, 58, of Brampton, was charged with sexual assault and is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
