Bowl for Kids Sake a success
Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington’s Bowl for Kids Sake took place on Feb. 23 with Mount Forest and community bowling.
There were 45 teams with 217 bowlers raising $20,212.
Kenilworth Public School and Victoria Cross Public School also took part in the school challenge, bringing in another $980.
The combined total raised so far this year is $35,513, putting BBBS well on its way to reaching its goal of $60,000, with several schools taking part in the school challenge this week and Arthur and community to bowl on March 2, beginning at 11am.
