Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott joined the celebration at Belwood Lodge and Camp to acknowledge a Trillium grant that was used to renovate the Hoffman House.

Renovations were completed in the spring on the main building, including improvements to accessibility, new windows and doors, an updated washroom, new flooring and roofing repairs.

“All of these were done to ensure that we can continue to provide a great holiday experience to the many lodgers and campers that come to Belwood each year for their summer vacation,” said Melinda Timmins, chairperson for Belwood Lodge and Camp

Belwood Lodge and Camp has been running for over 65 years serving the mentally challenged of Wellington County and other parts of Ontario. The camp provides an opportunity for individuals with special needs to enjoy a summer camp experience.
