HOPE - A community barbecue was held in Mount Forest on Sept. 25 by the HOPE committee of Wellington North and Minto to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention as well as to raise funds for committee activities. World Suicide Prevention Day was Sept. 10. In exchange for a donation, those attending the walk/drive-thru barbecue were treated to a M&M Food Market burger, chips, a cookie and a drink. Ready to serve are HOPE Committee members Paula Solway, Sabrina, Amber Pukarawski, Jennifer Bowman and Elsa Mann.
