Everyone knows Valentine’s Day is on Feb. 14, but did you know that February has another special day dedicated to celebrating love?
On Feb. 17, show your family, friends and complete strangers how much you care by participating in Random Acts of Kindness Day. It can be as simple as smiling at a stranger or sending a note to someone to let them know you’re thinking about them.
Don’t forget to be kind to yourself while you’re at it! Schedule some time with yourself to do something that makes you feel good, like reading your new book or snuggling in with a new DVD.
At Wellington County Library, we want to show you how much we care by doing something Just For You. Tell us what you love to read or watch, and we’ll provide you with a hand-picked selection of books, audiobooks, movies or TV series. Visit our website at wellington.ca/JustForYou and select Adult/Teen Titles or Kids’ Titles. We’ll get to work preparing your very own bundle and contact you when it’s ready to be picked up.
While you’re at the library, don’t forget to sign up for one of our upcoming programs to celebrate more things you love – from crafting to family time. For a list of all programming at your local branch, visit wellington.ca/LibraryCalendar.
