ARTHUR – An Arthur man reported missing more than two weeks ago has been found.

Arthur resident Benjamin Stewart, 53, was reported missing on April 6 around 4:15pm, according to a police news release.

He was last seen the previous day at around 2pm walking around Frederick Street in Arthur, according to police.

Since April 6, "police have been continuously searching for Benjamin in several locations throughout the county, alongside other neighbouring jurisdictions," the OPP stated in an update on April 22.

The release added that "as a result of the search [Stewart] has been located."

 "Police and family members want to thank members of the public for their assistance," police stated.

The OPP did not respond to an Advertiser request seeking an update on Stewart's condition.
