Arboretum offers sparrow workshop on May 25
The Arboretum, University of Guelph is offering a workshop on Sparrows on May 25 from 9am to 4pm.
This workshop is led by naturalist Chris Earley, and it will help participants identify and study 19 species of sparrows found in Ontario.
Hands-on activities will be used to learn plumages, songs and habitat use of this difficult-to-identify group.
Over lunch a hike will take place through The Arboretum looking for our resident sparrows (so please pack a lunch). An information booklet will be provided.
The cost of the course is $75 plus HST.
