AIDS symposium is set for Nov. 21

The seventh annual HIV/AIDS symposium will be held here at the at the Holiday Inn on Scottsdale Drive on Nov. 21.

Topics for the day include:

– an update on HIV prevention, treatment, and social issues;

– a discussion panel focused on HIV and aging, featuring first person perspectives;

– an update on hepatitis C treatment and harm reduction initiatives; and

– looking at psychosocial research on what places gay men at an increased risk for HIV. 

The symposium starts at 9am and finishes at 4pm. Registration is $30 and includes lunch, coffee, and snacks throughout the day. For more information or to register, visitwww.aidsguelph.org/symposium-2011.
