Active transportation plans open houses set for three communities

The County of Wellington and it local municipalities, along with the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, will be holding three public information sessions to gather feedback for the county-wide active transportation plan.

Information sessions will be held:

– in Erin on Oct. 22 from 8am to noon at the Erin Community Centre at Erin Centre 2000; 14 Boland Dr.;

– Fergus, Oct. 29 from 8am to noon at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex in Boardroom A and B, at 550 Belsyde Avenue; and

– in Mount Forest on Nov. 5 from 8 to noon at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex, at 850 Princess St.

The county and its partners want to hear from residents. The study team will be there to answer questions and discuss issues. The event will be conducted in an open house format, so residents may drop-in over the course of the morning.
