A grand season
The Grand River Mustangs Atom BB team competed in Cambridge Jan. 18 and lost by one goal in the gold medal game. On Nov. 2 they won all their games in Waterloo, including the gold medal match. On Dec. 7 they won all their games in Guelph, including a 1-0 victory in the final. The players are: Chloe Albrecht, Alexia Adams Buckton, Ellen Bouwman, Aivney Rossi, Lily Brown, Sophie Lovell, Stella Booth, Hannah Turner, Charlee Spike, Shaylyn Montgomery, Rylee Field, Addison Oakes, Olivia Webley, Summer Meyers and Lexie Farrelly. The coaches are Scott Spike, John Lovell, Brett Turner and Cory Buckton, and the trainers are Jodie Adams, Anna Albrecht and Sarah Spike. Submitted photo
