COBOURG – Three players formerly with the Elora Mohawks lacrosse team have been drafted by the Brampton Excelsiors, in the Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) Senior A league.

Kurtis Woodland was picked up in the second round of the Major Series 2019 entry draft held at the Cobourg Community Centre Jan. 27, and Mason Noble went in the third round.

Both had reached the Junior B age limit with the Mohawks.

Former Mohawks player Robert Stovel was also drafted by the Excelsiors in the second round, while former Mohawks player Spencer Pyke was placed on the protected list by the MSL Cobourg Kodiaks to move up from their junior affiliated team.
