BOWMAN, Cleason – Cleason Bowman of RR#1 Holstein, passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2018 at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Leona (Weber) Bowman. Loved father of Annetta and Henry Weber of RR#6, Mount Forest, Stephen and Esther Bowman of RR#1, Holstein, Kathryn and Wesley Bauman of RR#2, Kenilworth, Mervin and Esther Bowman of RR#1, Holstein, Esther and Amsey Frey of RR#2, Kenilworth, and Loreen and Andrew Shantz of RR#2, Holstein. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, his mother Annie (Bearinger) Bowman, and his mother-in-law Lydia (Bauman) Weber. Brother of Mervin and Erla Bowman, Harvey and Elsie Bowman, James and Vera Bowman, Nancy and Edgar Martin, Earl and Arlene Bowman, Mary and John Weber, and brother-in-law of Erla (Mrs. Harvey) Brubacher, Oscar and Lucinda Weber, Viola and Wayne Martin, Vera and Isaac Weber, and Selina and Mervin Martin. Predeceased by a stillborn daughter, his father Emanuel Bowman, father-in-law Edwin Weber, and brother-in-law Harvey Brubacher. Friends called at his home, 552046 Southgate Sideroad 55, RR#1, Holstein, on Saturday September 8th, 2018 from 1-4 and 5-7pm., and on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. A family service was held at the home on Monday, September 10th, 2018 at 9 a.m., then to Cedar View Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
