TURNER, James Edward passed away peacefully on September 14th in the loving arms of his wife June. He loved life so much that he fought departing with everything he could control. A successful State Farm agent for 35 years, Ed’s life was rewarding and happy and he will be sadly missed by all who were privileged to know him. Ed was predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth (2002) and his son Michael (1985). He leaves behind his wife June, with whom he had an amazing loving relationship, who will miss him so very much. Ed also leaves behind his sons Dave and his wife Laurette, and Chris and his wife Shelly, and grandsons Bryan, Scott, Daniel, Jonathan, Matthew and Robert. Also missing Ed are June’s children Anne and her husband Bob, and Robert and his wife Kimberly, and all their children Matt, Nick, Tim, Jeff, Matt, Emily and Alex and great grandchildren Nova and Avalon. Ed will be missed by his surviving brothers Tom and his wife Val, and Ricky and his wife Beverly, and many nieces and nephews. The staff members at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care (Walnut Grove) deserve a big thank you for their loving and gentle care. Donations to Wellington Terrace in Ed’s honour would be appreciated. At Ed’s request there will be no formal service, but a celebration of his life will be held on Sunday October 1, 2017 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at Vic Johnson Community Centre, 335 Church Street, Mississauga, Ontario L5M 1N1.
