BRADLEY, Alexander

BRADLEY, Alexander: Peacefully on April 30, 2015, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph with his daughter by his side at the age of 82. Pre-deceased by his wife Diane Bradley (nee: Brannon),(1995); he will be sadly missed by his daughter Tania, her husband Ted Dickson and dear granddaughters Alexa and Shaelyn. Also, his brother David and his wife Cathie, his sister-in-law Christine and niece Heather. Originally from Northern Ireland, he leaves behind his two sisters Maud and Margaret and brother Raymond who all adored their big brother.  Niece Siobhan and nephews Clarke and David will miss their Uncle Alex’s shenanigans and “fatherly” advice. He will be fondly remembered by his good friends Susan and Brent, Lori and Joe and their children, Brenda and Wally, Connie and Jarl, Pauline and Mick and Desmond with whom he spent countless hours building stone walls, digging trenches, removing trees, laughing at dinner and admiring the sunsets on Grandview Lake.  Many thanks to the entire staff at Heritage River in Elora for their genuine friendship and care, to Dr. Lund and nurses Shelley and Heather.  Sincere gratitude goes out to the nurses and volunteers at Hospice Wellington for their understanding and compassion. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebratory service in honour of his life in Baysville on May 30th. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Wellington.
