WEBER, Arnold D. of Goldstone passed away and went to be forever with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 1, 2015, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, at the age of 50. Arnold was the Cherished husband of Sandra (Nafziger) Weber for 24 ½ years.He was the dearly loved father of Lynnette, Keith and Matthew all at home. Arnold enjoyed being their father and has left precious memories and a godly character for them to follow. Surviving is Arnold’s mother, Helen (Gimbel) Weber, Sisters Linda and her husband Michael DeHaan, Lisa and her husband Mark Baboolal, brothers Harold and his wife Jessie, Ken and his wife Lillian, Gerald and his wife Janet and David Weber. Also surviving is Arnold’s mother-in-law Edna (Gerber) Nafziger, Sisters-in-law Elizabeth and her husband Ray Gerber, Pauline and her husband Bryan Huber, and brother-in-law Larry and his wife Cheryl Nafziger. Arnold will be lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncle, and many nieces and nephews. Arnold is predeceased by his father Lawrence Weber (1996) sister Janice (1967) and father-in-law, Maurice Nafziger (2014). Arnold lived all of his life in Goldstone. He enjoyed growing up on his parent’s farm and became a great hired man. Arnold loved working with numbers and went on to become an accountant. Arnold was extremely competitive when playing games and felt best when he was a winner. Arnold served on the Gospel Echoes Board for several years and more recently, he graded Bible study courses for inmates. Arnold was an active member of Moorefield Mennonite Fellowship. In November, 2009, when his illness began, he was unable to attend church until the summer of 2014. Arnold thoroughly enjoyed returning to Church every Sunday until this past Easter Sunday. It was a blessing he could be a part of his Adult Sunday School class, attend spring revival meetings and other social functions again. Friends called at the Moorefield Mennonite Fellowship on Sunday, May 3, 2015 and on Monday, May 4, 2015 Interment was in Hollen Cemetery on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and was followed by the Funeral Service at Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
