Centre Wellington drama club ziplines, rappells in Elora

ELORA – On Jan. 2, members of the Centre Wellington Children’s Drama Club (CWCDC) had the Elora Gorge as their stage. The CWCDC is a parent-led cooperative running two weekly drama clubs led by professional directors, each serving 22 children. Through rehearsal and performance, club members learn teamwork, discipline and the joy of expressing themselves, officials say. Last Friday’s adventure day was led by Frederick Schuett and Christa Niravong of Elora’s One Axe Pursuits with the aim of bringing the two groups of students together for a day of bonding and adventure featuring rappelling, zip-lining, a scavenger hunt, and more.
