BAKKER, Ralph Arthur

January 24, 1957 - November 25, 2025

It is with deep sorrow, yet unwavering hope in Jesus Christ, that we announce the peaceful passing of Ralph Arthur Bakker on November 25, 2025. Ralph entered his eternal home surrounded by his loving wife and adoring children, confident in the promise of his Saviour. Born on January 24, 1957, in Clinton, Ontario, Ralph was the son of Willem and Johanna Bakker and the second youngest in their family. In glory, he has been reunited with his parents; his brothers Bert and his twin, Paul; his sister Anne; and his sisters-in-law Irene and Betty. He is lovingly remembered by his brothers Harry, Bernie (Jane), and Wilmar (Melinda); his sisters-in-law Ellen and Lory; his brother-in-law Bill (Margaretha); and all of his nieces and nephews. Ralph will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 45 years, Diane and their children Leah (Ken), Aaron (Kim), Janelle (Greg), and Adrianna (Brittany). He will also be fondly remembered by his five precious grandchildren: Brayden, Kailyn, Cora, Emma, and Chloe, each one a blessing who filled his heart with joy. Ralph lived his life with steadfast faith, quiet strength, and a servant’s heart shown through his unconditional love and grace towards others. We take comfort knowing he is now in the presence of his Lord and Saviour, and that we will one day be reunited with him. The family welcomed friends at Palmerton Christian Reformed Church, 400 Whites Rd, Palmerston on Monday, December 1, 2025. The family had a private burial on the morning of Tuesday, December 2, 2025 and welcomed friends and family to join them at Palmerston CRC at 2pm for the Celebration of Life. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Verspeeten Clinical Genome Centre at LHSC in Ralph’s name would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston.
