Headwaters Arts Gallery presents Artful Giving

ALTON – Artful Giving, Headwaters Arts’ annual Christmas show has returned.

More than 40 local and regional artisans are showcasing original creations in a  festive Headwaters Arts Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre, in Alton. 

The gallery is filled with over 250 handmade items, including:

– hand-painted, carved, wood-turned, sewn and painted Christmas ornaments;

– handcrafted jewellery;

– hand woven tea towels;

– textiles, foraged inks, watercolour/acrylic, encaustic and oil paintings;

– coasters;

– decorative pillows;

– knitted items; and

– hand made cards.

“The magic of Christmas returns and this show is bigger than ever with exceptional and truly unique, hand-crafted items that are beautiful and affordable,” gallery coordinator Loni Griffin stated.

“New artists and artisans have been added to this year’s show, so we have exciting surprises in the gallery for our returning visitors. The price points for these creative gems range from five to $100 with some works/paintings over $200.”

Artful Giving will run until Jan. 6.
