WELLINGTON COUNTY – This Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, Hospice Wellington is inviting the public to be part of the Barzotti Giving Tuesday Challenge.
Every dollar donated, up to $15,000, will be matched by Barzotti Woodworking to support the Hospice Wellington kitchen.
“At Hospice Wellington, meals are more than nourishment. They are care. They are comfort. They are connection. They are community,” states a press release.
To take part in the challenge, participants can make a financial donation online or in person at 795 Scottsdale Dr., Guelph, or donate a grocery gift card.
“Gift cards and financial support ensure we can purchase exactly what is needed, when it’s needed, keeping meals fresh, meaningful and personal,” reads a press release.
“Your support will help ensure the Hospice Wellington kitchen remains a place of comfort for residents, families, and friends, today, tomorrow and well into the next 45 years.”
For those looking to give a little extra, Market Fresh 10 on Paisley Street will be accepting donations at the till. If the community reaches $1,000 in donations, the organization has pledges to match with another $1,000.
