On Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, Salome Penner was welcomed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Lester Penner for 31 years. Devoted mother of Ken, Austin and Megan, Lisa and Jedrek Martin. Treasured “grandmummum” of Hazel. Sister of Josh (Linda), Esther Bowman and Izzy (Karen). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Salome lived her life in faithful service to the Lord, expressing that devotion each day as a dedicated homemaker and caregiver. She poured herself into the lives of those around her, consistently placing the needs of others above her own. Her deep love for Jesus guided every part of her life, shaping the way she cared for her family, church and community. Her immense strength, servant’s heart and steadfast walk with the Lord will continue to inspire all who knew her. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 2:30 – 4 and 6 -7:30pm at Wallenstein Bible Chapel, 4522 Herrgott Rd., Wallenstein. Burial will take place in Hawkesville Cemetery, 9 Chapel St., Hawkesville on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10:30am. Close family, friends and those who feel led to attend are all welcome. A memorial service will follow at 11:30am at Wallenstein Bible Chapel, with reception. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed on Salome’s tribute page of the Dreisinger Funeral Home website.
