David Robert Tegler of Clifford went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in his 78th year. Dave was the brother of Mary and John Read of Winnipeg, Carol Ann Tegler of Hanover, and Sylvia Tegler of Hanover. Uncle to Michael Read, and Susan and Andrew Konowalchuk, and great-uncle to Nathan and Jacob. Remembered by his cousins Seth, Jesse, and Emil Tegler, and by his dear friends Sue and Jeff Hollinger, and Bonnie and Dale Hollinger. He was predeceased by his parents Carl and Elizabeth Tegler. Dave farmed all his life on the family farm at Clifford. He was a cattleman. He enjoyed watching the little calves frisking around the yard, and when grown, he liked his milking cows and steers. He tried to make sure that they had a good life. Special thanks to Dr. Lindsay Bowman and David’s caregivers. The funeral service will be held from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clifford on Monday, December 29 at 11:00am. Interment in Clifford Cemetery.
