Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Louise Marshall Hospital on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in her 81st year. Cherished wife of the late Ross McRobb (2021). Loving mother of Danny (Annilene), Doug (Sherry), and Kevin (Amber). Dear grandmother of Rachael McRobb (Stan Denstedt), Rebecca McRobb (Taylor Jantzi), Emma Pronk (Nic), Jenna O’Gorman (Tyler), Jayde Martin (Caiman), Chaise McRobb, and Brooke McRobb. Beloved great-grandmother of Aurora, Henry, Cameron, Iris, Stirling, and Jillian. Rilla will be missed by her brother Harlen Whetham (Sharon Lett), her sisters-in-law Marion Officer and Sharon Good (Doug), and her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Leonard and Velma Whetham, sister Linda Mayburry, in-laws Clarence and Laura McRobb, brothers-in-law Don Mayburry and Elwyn Officer, and sister-in-law Diane Whetham.Rilla enjoyed farming most of her life. In addition, she worked at Ideal Ladies Wear and K-Brand for many years. She gave back to the community in volunteering her time with the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, the Royal Canadian Legion, Mount Forest Branch 134, the Mount Forest United Church and the Tollgate Community Club. Visitation was held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Sunday, October 19th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm. The funeral service was held at Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest, on Monday, October 20th at 11:00am, with visitation at the church from 10:00-10:45am. Following the service, all were invited to the church hall for refreshments and fellowship.
