MINTO – A new exhibit has begun at the Minto Arts Gallery for October. Having its opening night on Oct. 2, the Connections Fibre Artists Exhibition will run until Oct. 25 at the gallery, located on the third floor of the Harriston library. The Connection Fibre Artists have been dedicated to elevating fibre beyond craft since 1999, officials say, showcasing it as a “powerful medium” for contemporary art. The collective consists of stitchers, quilters, multi-media and collage artists from across Ontario and Canada.
