Obituary

Dori died peacefully at her home in Fergus. Loving sister to her brother Dave Robinson (Janet) from Breslau, beloved mother of Gillian Steele and Jennifer Steele from England. Grandmother to Sid and Eva also from England. Predeceased by parents Eleanor and Lorne Robinson, sisters Joan, Bonnie; Donelda and Sandra. Survived by many nieces and nephew. Dori loved life all life could give, she loved all her family and ones that were closest. Dori will be missed by many and her friends Dwayne & Gil. She would give a helping hand to anyone who she came in contact with. A very loving person. We are grateful for the help and care provided by Groves Memorial Hospital and the Homewood staff for their loving care. She passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2025, Dori was a very much loved Mum, Grandmummy, sister and aunt. Dori had a full life, having been a registered nurser, administrator, entrepreneur, home maker and volunteer for the city. She had great respect for the “city guys”, cab drivers, policemen and military. She enjoyed yoga, politics and getting to know people. Dori had immense love for her family and greatly appreciated her friends. She was a very inspirational woman, incredibly resilient with positivity and genuine care for all, she will be laid to rest at Graham A Giddy Funeral Home.
