Obituary

In loving memory of Jacob “Jack” Moesker. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Christina and his eight children, Erica, Henry, Marsha, Karen, Lynn, John, Julia, and James, as well as 26 grandchildren. Jack immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1952 to Mono Mills by Orangeville Ontario. He grew up in Fergus, got married in South Africa, then returned to Canada and became a pastor. He served as a pastor in various churches all across Canada. His faith in the Lord sustained him throughout his life. Jack passed away in his sleep at Groves Memorial Hospital. The family would like to thank the staff at Groves Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care and attention that they gave dad during his last days. Friends and family were received on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and continued from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Fergus North Canadian Reformed Church, 6534 First Line Fergus, ON N1M 2W4. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00am at Fergus North Canadian Reformed Church in Fergus, ON. A private burial was held at Belsyde Cemetery. Reception took place following the service at the church. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Anchor Christian Homes would be warmly appreciated by Jacob’s family.
