ERIN – As part of its 175th anniversary celebrations, the Erin Agricultural Society organized a tractor parade along Trafalgar Road in Hillsburgh and Main Street in Erin. For the 75+ participating tractors, the two-hour journey culminated at the Erin fairgrounds, where the Fergus Pipe Band welcomed the arriving vintage vehicles. Festivities continued all afternoon with a community celebration featuring a Fall Fair heritage display, fiddle jam, square dancing, tractor rides, 4-H beef show demo and more.
