NIAGARA REGION – Tickets are now on sale for the 106th International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM), taking place from Sept. 16 to 20, in Grassie, West Lincoln, Niagara Region.
This five-day celebration draws tens of thousands of visitors from across the province and beyond, offering a dynamic mix of agriculture, innovation, entertainment and family-friendly fun, organizers state in a press release.
“Whether you’re a lifelong farmer, a curious city-dweller or someone looking for a fun and unique day out the IPM has something for everyone of all ages.”
The event showcases Ontario’s agricultural heritage while creating the future of farming through world class plowing competitions, a tented city, educational exhibits, livestock displays, live entertainment, food vendors and family fun zones.
With ticket sales now available online visitors can avoid the lineups and take advantage of early-pay discounts by purchasing tickets in advance at plowingmatch.org/ipm2025/visitor-info/tickets/.
Advance ticket sales are available until Sept. 9, including:
– adults (16 plus) $20;
– youth (six to 15) $5;
– family pack (two adults, two youth) $40;
– children five and under free; and
– parking is free.
When advance ticketing closes online ticket sales will continue but regular gate pricing applies changing adult tickets to $25.
Payment methods accepted at the gate: cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard.
Tickets are also available for purchase at the match, running daily from Sept. 16 to 20 from 8:30am until 5pm at 7402 Mud Street West, Grassie, Ontario.
“For over 100 years the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo has brought together rural and urban communities to celebrate Ontario’s agricultural roots, innovation and community spirit,” officials stated.
