WELLINGTON COUNTY – The 100 Women Who Care Rural Wellington (100 WHCRW) group recently presented its largest cheque to date ($12,200) to Hamilton Health Sciences for its neonatal intensive care unit. Presenting the cheque to Christina Lopes, second from left, from Hamilton Health Sciences, are 100 WHCRW members Lauren Aronson, Sandy Gilmore, Kay Ayres and Helen Edwards. “Join us at the next meeting … on Sept. 15 at James Street United Church, Palmerston at 7pm sharp,” officials encourage. “Learn how your $100 can make a huge difference to a local charity.”
