City of Guelph and Musagates Fund awards $4,000 to Focus on Nature

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Focus on Nature announced the City of Guelph Community Grant and the Musagates Fund has awarded a total of $4,000.

The City of Guelph has awarded $2,000 towards new equipment for students to use in upcoming workshops and summer camps.

$2,000 has been awarded from The Musagetes Fund, a fund held by The Guelph Community Foundation, to support their goal towards the Autumn Student Photo Exhibition in Guelph for 2025. 

The Musagetes Fund is intended to act as a catalyst for the ongoing production and enjoyment of performing, visual and literary arts excellence in Guelph and area. The fund aims to make art more central and meaningful in people’s lives. 

“This is very exciting that we’ve been awarded this funding,” said Alexandria Benitez, Focus on Nature’s executive director. “We hope that it will help us continue our pursuit of obtaining new equipment for all of our students to use.”
