Obituary

Departed peacefully on her own terms at Guelph General Hospital on June 21, 2025. She was 86. Lois lived and worked in downtown Fergus all of her life. She kept a watchful eye on everything in her midst. Thirty-two years of work as a law clerk honed her skills in accurate record keeping, especially aiding her dedication to genealogy research. She will be missed by all who knew her: dear friend George Thomas, and her community of family and friends. Respecting Lois’ wishes, a private graveside service was held Wednesday, June 25 at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to Graham A.
