ABOYNE – The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games held an open house at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on June 22 to highlight and celebrate its 80-year history. Costumes, photos, programs and other memorabilia were on display. And a good number of past and present volunteers and board members came to share memories. The display is open to the public and will be up until September.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games, organizers have a new 80th-year tartan, which was on display at the open house at the museum on June 22.
