Erin Farmers’ Market reopens season on June 19

ERIN  – Thursday June 19 will mark the official reopening of the Erin Farmers’ Market for its 13th season. The market will run from 3 to 6:30pm.

“From just-picked fresh fruits and vegetables, to heritage meats, baking, jams, pickles, cut flowers, wine, and honey, it really is possible to do much of your grocery shopping at the market each week,” stated market coordinator Jennifer Schmelter in a press release.

“Whether you’re a seasoned market-goer or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone.”

Opening day will feature a great roster of farms, prepared food vendors, artisans and community organizations, officials say.

There will be free cotton candy for kids, Erin’s own Naydo’s Potatoes will be cooking up dinner, and Discover Erin will be on site with free shopping bags and town info.

The market will be located inside the agri-dome at the Erin Fairgrounds, 184 Main St., every Thursday from 3 to 6:30pm until Sept. 25.
