of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Sunday, May 18, 2025 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Tremain. Loving mother to Verna Robson and her husband David Robson of Burlington and George Tremain and his wife Janice Tremain of Arthur. Beloved grandmother of Carrie Anne Milne, Richard Tremain and his wife Teresa, Jeff Robson and his wife Lyndsay, Jennifer Carriere and her husband Phil. Great grandmother to Leighton, Halle, Tya, Tennessee, Acadia, Colton, Everett, Sophie and Henry. Great great grandmother to Daisy. Jean is survived by her sister Sarah Morley and dear sisters-in-law Freda Whiteside and Masie Tremain. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins as well as by many friends. Jean is predeceased by her parents Viola and George Henry and her three brothers Ross, Pallister and Wellington Henry and sister Marion Stoutenburg. The family would like to thank Caressant Care, Arthur for their care and a special thank you to George and Sharon Henry and their family as well as Brenda and Ken Fair and their family. Jean was blessed with her Scotland Street neighbours, her sister-in-law Freda Whiteside and the entire Checkley family. Jean enjoyed a life lived well and she will be missed. A Celebration of Jean’s life will take place in the Fergus Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275, 500 Blair Street Fergus on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 with remembrances at 2:30. In lieu of flowers donations to the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur.
