GUELPH – The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is hosting its annual Elementary Skills Competition on March 31 from 10am to 2pm at the Guelph Gryphons Athletic Centre at the University of Guelph.
This event celebrates the creativity, problem-solving, and technical abilities of UGDSB elementary students as they compete in a range of skill-testing challenges.
From robotics and engineering tasks to teamwork-based competitions, this is an opportunity for young learners to showcase their talents in an engaging, hands-on environment.
“The competition is proudly supported by Skills Competences Canada Ontario, the Ontario Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program, and Take Tech, reinforcing UGDSB’s commitment to career exploration and hands-on learning,” officials state.
Families, educators, and community members are invited to attend and support the students as they put their skills to the test.
“Join us in celebrating the future of skilled trades and technology,” officials invite.
