Hundreds attend Centre Wellington Seedy Saturday

Dominique Leonard started creating garden tiles for herself and suddenly had a problem with overstock. She was selling tiles at the Centre Wellington Seedy Saturday event on March 15. The event was organized by the Fergus and District and Elora and Salem horticultural societies.

Nancy Hainsworth came from Kitchener to sell her wares at the Centre Wellington Seedy Saturday event – upcycled art objects and locally grown seeds. Crowds flocked to the Wellington County museum even before the doors officially opened. For frustrated gardeners impatient for spring, the event provided solice on a stormy day.
