Bicycle safety focus of course in Fergus

The course was open to riders aged five to 12 and offered bicycle safety education, a skills course, safety checks and a fitting check. Ryan and Cole Parsons were among those to participate in the safety course.

The event was sponsored by Brain Injury Association as part of the Lidz on Kidz 2022 program, which provided free helmets to the first 50 kids registered for the event. From left: Lauren Gibbons and Lynda and Michael Abshoff.

Bike rodeo – The Optimist Club of Centre Wellington, in partnership with Wellington County OPP, hosted a Bicycle Safety Course on May 14 at the Fergus Curling Club.
