10th annual Trillium race this weekend

This weekend marks the 10th annual Trillium Race in Mount Forest.

This year’s event starts at the Mount Forest Sports complex at 9:30am on May 14, though participants should show up considerably earlier to register.

In a recent letter to council, race director Manuel Ferreira noted that plans are to hold the same routes as in the past two years for both the 5km and 10km races.

There is also a high speed in-line 10km skate.

As in past years, road closures and notifications to be up at 9am (most slower runners are off the courses by, at the latest, 11am).

If recent years are any indication, the site should be a flurry of activity this coming Saturday morning both inside and outside of the arena
