Zero dollars lost in Puslinch due to fires according to April report

Puslinch deputy chief Jeff Shepherd had good News to report to council on May 21.

April was a good month with “zero dollars due to fire loss. It’s a wonderful thing when you can say that.”

He noted the past month involved 30 calls to various events.

The largest number of calls was for motor vehicle collisions. Shepherd noted a new part of the fire report was the inclusion of some provincial statistics on fire related deaths.

“It’s something Puslinch can be proud of that we have not yet, and hopefully will not have any fire deaths.”
