Youth troupe to offer Romeo and Juliet
First Light Theatre works with youth to encourage self confidence, self discovery, and self exploring.
It is presenting Romeo and Juliet here next month.
During its rehearsals it has professionals lead the troupe through workshops in voice, movement, acting, and sword fighting.
Romeo and Juliet will be presented at the Goldie Mill, behind the Guelph Youth Music Centre. Show Dates and times are :
- June 10, 80pm;
- June 11, 2pm;
- June 11, 8pm; and
- June 12, 2pm.
The production is being done through the troupe’s senior training program with youths aged 13 to 18.
Tickets are $10 and can be bought at the door or Macondo Books.
