Youth singers celebrate 25 years
The 2015/16 season marks the 25th anniversary of Guelph Youth Singers (GYS). The following are the dates and locations for the series of five concerts in celebration:
- Oct 25 - GYS, Suzuki String School of Guelph and a special guest perform a Sunday afternoon concert at Dublin Street United Church;
- Dec 5 - GYS annual winter concert at 7pm at Harcourt Memorial United Church;
- Feb. 21 - GYS and Wiiji Numgumook Kwe Drum Circle hold a Sunday afternoon gathering at The Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing;
- April 3 - GYS choir I and II perform a Sunday afternoon children’s concert at Guelph Youth Music Centre.
- May 28 - Guelph Youth Singers 25th Anniversary Concert at 7pm at the River Run Centre.
As the date approaches more concert information will be posted on the GYS website, facebook page and on twitter.
To buy tickets for the series which includes all five concerts, GYS is offering a price of $99. Single ticket prices are also available and all tickets can be purchased through the River Run Centre.
