Youth famine to help Haiti victims

Students from Centre Well­ington will be join­ing more than 100,000 Cana­dian youths participating in the World Vision 30-Hour Famine on April 16 and 17 to raise funds for Haiti relief and recovery efforts, as well as other development projects.

Last year, local youths from schools, chur­ch­es and organizations volunteered 30 hours of their time and raised $2,795 to help children and families strug­gling to stay alive.
