Wright, Hector Charles. Peacefully at home, in Elora on May 9, 2013. Beloved husband of 51 years of Maureen (nee: MacNab). Loving father of Anne and Tom (Laura). Dear grandfather of Alison. Hector was born in Montreal on November 20, 1934 to Hector and Muriel (nee: Sibary) Wright. He will be remembered by his mother-in-law Lorraine (Ron 1993) MacNab and brothers-in-law Charles (Elizabeth) MacNab and their sons John (Jennifer), Finlay (Claire) and Graham (Leah) and Robin (Jennifer)MacNab and their daughter Andrea. As well as his nieces Samara and Josha MacNab. Hector is predeceased by his brother –in-law Ned MacNab. The family moved to Gravenhurst in 1956, where he met his future wife. He worked for Simpson-Sears, the Toronto Dominion Bank for 30 years in Toronto and Edmonton and he worked for the City of Vaughan. Hector was very proud of his family, and a proud Canadian and a fan of the Blue Jays since their first home opener. A Celebration of Hector’s life was held at St. John’s Anglican Church in Elora at 2pm on Wed May 15th.
