Workplace violence?
A Fergus man is charged with assault after police say an altercation between co-workers went too far. On March 22 at about 11:30am, Wellington OPP received a report of an assault the previous day at a business on Gzowski Street in Fergus.
“The victim reported that he had been involved in a verbal altercation with the accused that led to the accused assaulting the victim,” police stated.
Craig Smith, 59, of Fergus, was charged with assault. He is to appear in Guelph court on April 27.
