Workplace injury
On July 28 at about 8am emergency crews responded to a serious workplace injury on Kerr Crescent here.
Police say 48-year-old man “sustained serious trauma to his hand in a workplace accident.”
He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and then airlifted to a trauma centre.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating and police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call 1-888-310-1122.
